Meet Paul W. Snyder
Paul W. Snyder was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1950. He graduated
from Morrill High School in 1968. He received his Bachelor of Science
degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1972 with a major in political
science and a minor in religion. In 1975 he graduated from the University
Of Nebraska College Of Law.
Paul has been a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association since 1975.
He has served on the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates
since 1995. He is also a Fellow in the Nebraska Bar Foundation. He is
past president of the Scottsbluff County Bar Association.
Paul originally was employed as an assistant attorney general with the
Nebraska Department of Justice from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 Paul joined
the VanSteenberg Firm in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He later was made a partner
in that firm and has remained in the same law office since that time.
Since returning to western Nebraska Paul has been the president or chairman
of the board of several local civic organizations including the Panhandle
Humane Society, Panhandle Mediation Center and the Regional West Hospital
Foundation. He is currently his district's representative to the Nebraska
State Bar Association House of Delegates and is on the Board of Directors of the
Nebraska State Bar Foundation. He is currently serving his third term as
a member of the Scottsbluff School Board.
Paul's areas of legal practice include personal injury, family law,
general civil litigation, real estate and estate planning.
